Identification required:

Government issued photo identification (for example, drivers’ license or passport) needs to be provided upon check-in.

The Hotel will keep a record of your identification on file for security purposes.

Deposit / Payment Policy:

A valid credit card is required at time of booking however payment is processed prior to arrival, special events and Early Bird rates will have payment taken at time of booking.

Credit card surcharges apply.

A $100 pre-authorization on a valid credit card is required at point of check in per room ($200 for a pet friendly reservation) for all bookings.

Cash is not accepted as payment or deposits.

Booking data may be shared between all Prendiville Group properties

Party Policy:

Pier 21 Apartment Hotel has a zero-tolerance policy on parties being held in the apartments and disruption to other guests. A party being defined as:

Any situation where the maximum number of guests allowed per apartment is exceeded
Any situation where the noise level from the apartment is deemed too high thereby disturbing other hotel guests and/or the apartment residents
Any situation whereby excessive traffic to/from the apartment is identified
Any situation where it is deemed that intoxication is occurring
Any situation where it is identified that excessive alcohol is present
Any situation where the hotel suspects that the room is being used for any purpose other than its intended purpose of providing accommodation

In the event that any apartment/guest is identified as having a party, the hotel reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the apartment up to, and including, the guest who has registered for the apartment to vacate the premises.

In the event that an eviction does occur, the registered guest will be charged for that night’s accommodation and for any expense resulting from additional cleaning of the apartment, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs.

Best Price Guarantee:

Pier 21 Apartment Hotel guarantees that the best rate available is made directly at the hotel.

This offer excludes all opaque rates such as mystery hotel deals and applies only to sites where Pier 21 Apartment Hotel directly shares rates and inventory with.

Websites such as Trivago, Hotel.com, Webjet, Amoma.com (and other sites not listed) are excluded from this offer as Pier 21 Apartment Hotel does not have a direct relationship with these sites and can not guarantee the accuracy of their content, rates and available inventory.

The hotel must be contacted and be able to book a lower rate through a 3rd party website at the same time as showing a higher rate on the pier21.com.au website. Pier 21 Apartment Hotel will determine if the rate and available room type is actually lower on the 3rd party website for this guarantee to apply.

Car parking:

Parking is subject to availability and is on a first come first served basis.. By Parking your vehicle at Pier 21 Apartment Hotel you accept any loss or damage caused by any means to any and all personal property.

Car spaces are limited, and Pier 21 Apartment Hotel does not guarantee car park availability.

Smoking:

All rooms and public areas are non-smoking. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged to your account if the room has a smoke odour.

For your convenience ash trays have been placed on the balcony – please ensure balcony doors are closed so as not to allow smoke back into the apartment. Please ensure correct disposal of your butts/ash.

Unreasonable State:

Any room left in an unreasonable state requiring additional cleaning, repairs to any component to the room not limited to walls, floors, furniture and fittings will be charged to the guest registered for the room. A cleaning fee of $220 will apply plus any incurred costs to the hotel for labor, parts etc resulting from unreasonable damages.

Fire Alarms:

Should the fire alarm be triggered in your room caused by any means associated with your stay, behaviour and/or activity any fees passed on to the hotel from the Department of Fire & Emergency Services will be payable and charged to the registered guest in the room. Fees in excess of $1300 per incident may apply.

Use of guest facilities:

The Pools, Spa, Tennis Court and Gymnasium are open 07:00 until 20:30 daily. No life guard is on duty at the pools. Use of any of the hotel facilities is undertaken at your own risk and children must be supervised at all times.

RMS Terms

  1. Cancellation penalties depend on Accommodation Provider policies. An administration charge (defined on the booking form) applies to all booking changes and cancellations.
  2. RMSOnline sells Accommodation Provider accommodation from an inventory supplied by each Accommodation Provider, and does not over-sell that inventory. RMSOnline does not accept any liability for unavailability of rooms caused by the Accommodation Provider over-selling there own room inventory.
  3. The customer will be required to provide a credit card at check-in to cover incidental charges and may be required to provide photo ID.
  4. RMSOnline makes its best efforts to ensure that the information available on its web site is accurate. However, RMSOnline cannot and does not guarantee that the site is free from errors or faults.
  5. RMSOnline does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information published on the site at any time.
  6. RMSOnline does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of or connected with its web site or for any products or services purchased from its web site.
  7. RMSOnline makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any product or service advertised on its web site.
  8. RMSOnline offers are not commissionable to registered travel agents.
  9. RMSOnline receives a payment from the Accommodation Provider for the provision of the RMSOnline booking service.
  10. You must be at least 18 years of age to book Accommodation on RMSOnline.
  11. These terms do not affect consumers’ statutory rights.
  12. Customer acknowledges that a third party (‘card authoriser’) will process the credit card transactions required in respect of a booking. Customer agrees that RMSOnline is not liable for default by the card authoriser.
  13. Customer acknowledges that payment for the cost of accommodation will be held by RMSOnline on behalf of the Accommodation Provider and remitted to the property on terms agreed between RMSOnline and Accommodation Provider.
  14. Customer agrees to pay to RMSOnline by debit to customers credit card account the specific booking fee & cost of the accommodation. All fees are GST inclusive. RMSOnline will issue customer with a valid tax invoice in respect of this booking service.
  15. Bookings made through RMSOnline by the customer are made on behalf of the Accommodation Provider. Customer agrees that Accommodation Provider has sole responsibility for delivery of the services being booked by the customer and that RMSOnline is not liable for default by the Accommodation Provider.
  16. Whilst every effort is made to ensure your requested room type is available, we cannot guarantee the actual bedding configuration of the room. These requests are forwarded to the Accommodation Provider and are subject to availability on day of check-in. All additional requests (smoking room, etc) are also subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed by RMSOnline.
